Bob Ball is the founder and Executive Director of Inside Out, CDC. Inside Out was created to build empowerment programs for individuals and organizations in the urban core. Through training in areas such as culinary arts, Inside Out is positioned to help break the cycle of poverty by opening new horizons. The Fresh Directions Hot Meals program has produced over 145,000 meals towards empowering care giving organizations serving youth. Prior to founding Inside Out, Bob and his wife Stacy founded Blood-N-Fire Ministries Muncie which, since 1995 has served over 200,000 meals to needy individuals. The Ministry’s pantry also distributes tons of food annually. Other aspects of the organization include youth oriented programs such as after-school mentoring, as well as community development programs including gardening, neighborhood beautification, holiday outreaches, neighborhood block parties and the Community Christmas Store.
Mr. Ball is a part of the Somebody Cares Global Crisis Response Network that leads volunteers in disaster relief across the country. He is a trained Chaplain and has served in relief support for hurricanes Katrina, Rita, Ike and Sandy as well as tornado relief efforts in Birmingham, Joplin, Salyersville & Vilonia & floods in Baton Rouge. His background as a former teacher, coach, youth summer recreation director, youth pastor, city activist, life coach and program administrator has positioned him as a natural leader, advocate and “connector” for the support of vulnerable individuals. Mr. Ball became a Fellow of the Ball Brothers Foundation in 2012, was presented a Delaware County Personal Integrity Award and along with his wife received the Star Press Persons of the Year Award in 2013. He is a member of several boards related to inner city support and restoration.
